Join Gabor Mate and Jenara Nerenberg in an intimate conversation on transforming personal and societal traumas in this challenging time. Hear first-hand stories from Gabor’s own life, how he reconciles the hopes of his family and his life’s work with the political and psychological traumas of modern-day life.

Gabor Mate is an acclaimed physician and author, best known for his books In The Realm of Hungry Ghosts, When the Body Says No, Scattered, and more.

This will be held in a small venue for the second year in a row, selling out quickly. Be sure to register in advance on this page.

Host Jenara Nerenberg is an award-winning reporter for the UC Berkeley Greater Good Science Center, Garrison Institute, Fast Company, Susan Cain’s Quiet Revolution and elsewhere.
