Gaa-Onwaa'injig Ojibwe Language Immersion Conference

This gathering is intended to bring together beginning and established Indigenous language revitalization groups to examine best practices.
The conference will address:
- Community language revitalization
- PK-12 Indigenous language medium classroom needs
- Immersion policy and administration
- Adult Indigenous language immersion
The conference includes a keynote address by Keller Paap, Waadookodaading founder and veteran immersion teacher, as well as presentations by current teachers, administrators, policy makers, and elders involved in language revitalization through immersion methods.
Have you always wanted to visit and observe an immersion classroom in action? Register for the preconference visit to Waadookodaading Ojibwe Language School to see the teachers in action, then join those teachers in their presentations and panels to ask your questions about what you observed. Limit 25 registrants for preconference visit.
