Course Objectives:

1)Demonstrate the powerful connection between the physiological stress responses in the mind and body during stressful events or crisis and the "biological cost of stress".

2)Techniques and demonstrations will be used to implement the short-term, evidenced based Solution-Focused Model. This model will be applied with a emphasis on "windows of change". It will be discovered how this therapeutic model has great value in opening opportunities during crisis.

3) Integrate the connection between emotional wellbeing and mental health. Determine how emotional wellbeing can lead to mental and physical illness.

4) Implement strategies for stress management and become proactive about mental and physical health using a unique but simple holistic approach which will include ruling out mental, lifestyle changes, and self-care.

5) Apply fundamental principals to improve mental and physical wellbeing

6) Techniques for implementing a holistic assessment that therapist/participants can use in practice to rule of medical, focus on addressing the cause, and solution building.

About Your Presenter:

Kindra Battles is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the Atlanta Metro Area. She has over 10 years experiences working in the area of depression and anxiety related issues. Her therapeutic approach includes a holistic perspective. Her work integrates the mind- body connection, stresses impact on the biological and physiological being, and its treatment.

Kindra's passion to educate, train, and coach others on the mind and body connection lead her to attend Wildwood Lifestyle Institute (a leader in preventive medicine). She completed the training program and obtained the knowledge on natural medicines and reversal of diseases. She has been able to implement this into her private practice and has been successful. She's witnessed the transformation of client's who have implemented these powerful techniques in treatment. Client's have been able to reverse disease and clinical depression.
