Essential EOC Section/Positions Specific Training (G611):

This training module focuses on the roles, responsibilities, and functions of each Emergency Operations Center (EOC) position and how the positions and sections interact with one another.


Content will include:

Detailed description of roles and responsibilities of each position within the Section

The functions of each Position within the Section

How each Position interacts with other Positions / Sections and external stakeholders

How the Section interacts with and depend upon each other

Specific forms and processes used

Communications mapping activities


Course Length: 8 hours


Prerequisites:*
FEMA Student Identification System (FEMA SID)
IS-100: Introduction to the Incident Command System
G-606: An Introduction to the Standardized Emergency Management (SEMS)

Recommended Courses:
IS-200: ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents
IS-701: NIMS Multiagency Coordination System (MACS)

*Completion of a SEMS/NIMS/ICS Combined Course will fulfill requirements for IS-100.C, IS-200.B, and G-606.
