In this workshop we’ll discuss how to plan your Quality Assurance (QA) process and QA team. At which stages in the manufacturing process should you introduce QA? What are the impacts on schedule and cost?

Facilitators

Diana Pincus - Diana is the VP of Operations at littleBits, a modular electronics platform. Diana is a manufacturing operations executive and mechanical engineer with more than 10 years of experience in factory layout and execution, development of an operations organization, building a local and international supply chain, and managing cross-functional teams.

Jim Griszbacher - Jim was the VP of Engineering at Teralytic, and was previously the Director of Engineering at Latch and MakerBot. His product development experience includes international contract manufacturer coordination, supply chain management, international regulatory compliance, and product roadmap resource and schedule planning.

Bob Kowalski - Bob is a Senior Director of Mechanical Engineering at Intelligent Product Solutions, a cross functional design services and manufacturing company. Bob has worked with a variety of organizations to bring their ideas from concept through design and into production. Prior to IPS, Bob was the Director of Mechanical Engineering for Motorola Solution’s Mobile Computing Division, where he led a team of mechanical engineers in four locations on three continents developing highly rugged handheld mobile computers. He has extensive experience working with design and manufacturing partners in Asia.
