Description

Join AT&T Foundry, Ericsson, and moderator Andrew Keen as we discuss the future of technology in emergency response and disaster recovery.

In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, tech innovators and members of the healthcare community in the Houston area devised innovative solutions to help ensure that people were safe, connected, and informed.

In this Futurecast, we’ll explore how technology is used today, and how it can evolve in the future to help communities, first responders, healthcare providers, governments, public safety officials, and other organizations in the event of natural disasters and other humanitarian crises.

  • The event starts at 5:30 PM with refreshments, hors d'oeuvres, and exhibitor demos.
  • Andrew Keen will start the conversation at 6:30 PM with our featured guests, then open the discussion to all participants.
  • Admission is free and complimentary parking will be provided.

Our principal guests/discussants:

  • Dr. Dorit Donoviel, Translational Research Institute for Space Health at Baylor College of Medicine
  • Dr. Sivaram Arabandi, Senior Clinical Informaticist, Terminologist, Entrepreneur - Ontopro
