Event description
MSD presents Jefferson Burnett, Vice President of NAIS’s Education Innovation team, on how to prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

About this Event

MSD is pleased and proud to host Jefferson Burnett, Vice President of NAIS’s Education Innovation team to lead our community in an informative presentation on preparing our children for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

We are learning much from our ongoing COVID-19 experience: the reassurance of community, the value of caring, and the importance of connections are just a few.

We have an even deeper appreciation for the role of our schools and the partnerships they have with parents. We are even more aware that the post pandemic era will be challenging, yet full of opportunity. We recognize that the future is already here and that education is the anchor and ticket to a resilient life ahead for our children. We’ll explore the now, new, and next and how we can prepare for the Fourth Industrial Revolution, together.

An article in Independent School magazine written by Jefferson Burnett and colleague, Ioana Suciu Wheeler, says "Independent schools are uniquely positioned to prepare their students to be global citizens who are knowledgeable, compassionate, ethical, curious, and internationally minded. Global education and international student programs are not new to independent schools, but the intersection of the two has taken on greater significance, with more schools making global competence mission-critical." Please feel free to invite a friend or two, your family members, and caregivers.
