About the conference

Our Task designed the annual Earth 2100 Conference as a dynamic and interactive knowledge-exchange space for thoughtful, civil, intergenerational dialogue to take place on global issues that young people will confront over the course of their lives.

This year’s dialogue focuses on soil and food. Our aim is to answer the following two questions:

  • What role does soil play in ensuring a sustainable future for our children and grandchildren?

  • Can enough food be produced to feed an estimated population of 10 billion by 2100?

Special exhibitionists include food artists, sustainability chefs, and more to offer attendees new perspectives on soil and food protection, and how art, video, local initiatives and other creative mediums can help inform the public about the interconnectivity between soil, food, and culture. The goal is to inspire them to become a powerful voice on sustainability and lead the change towards a sustainable planet for their own and future generations.

The Conference Programme will be updated periodically as more information becomes available, please check back regularly for updates on our website at For questions or if you are interested in sponsoring our event please email Marion at
