Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Description

How do you as a fashion designer see yourself working in the future? What is your role? How will technology influence your work? How can we involve also consumers to change the course of the industry?

Join this 2-part workshop to explore the possibilites through consumer and technology insights provided by the researcher, discussions with other fashion designers, and brainstorm a design brief.

The content of the two evenings is as following:

The first evening we'll discuss developments in the fashion industry, how it affects you as a designers, how you would like things to develop, etc., as well as outcomes from my research, to set the scene for the design brief we will work on the next evening.

The second evening we will then work on the design brief, as a group. The brief will be free from commercial constraints, allowing us to brainstorm quite freely and envision future solutions, be they products, systems or services.

This workshop is an essential part of the organizer's MA research and is OPEN TO PROFESSIONAL FASHION DESIGNERS ONLY.
