Why human-centered design?
At Carnegie Mellon's Software Engineering Institute (SEI), we are in the business of working together to make discoveries. We find that human-centered design—a collaborative approach that breaks us out of old thought patterns and opens us up to new and innovative solutions—helps us do our best work. That’s why we’ve incorporated a few of these sessions throughout this workshop. You can expect to work in small groups at various points over the course of the day.
Travel and Accommodations
This workshop is located at the Collaborative Innovation Center (CIC) building on the Carnegie Mellon University campus. If you are driving to the building, we recommend parking in the building's parking garage. Please note that the entrance to the CIC garage is located at the intersection of Boundary and Neville Streets.
