Join us on Sunday, August 18th for our first Hammiversary!

Tickets for Hammiversary dinner are $100 and include a five-course whole hog dinner, welcome cocktails, as well as wine and Kölsch service throughout the dinner. TAX AND TIP INCLUDED IN PRICE.

Get ready for our spin on a traditional pig roast to mark one year of slinging pretzels, bier and brunch in West Town. It will a communal celebration spread across our entire restaurant and bar, with music, games and more.

Hammiversary kicks off at 5 p.m. with welcome cocktails, followed by a five-course dinner at 6 p.m., served family style and paired with a selection of wines and Kölsch service.

Seating for dinner will be open and communal. We are happy to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions, with advance notice; that said, we’re rolling out a whole-hog experience, so vegans, please take note.

The menu:

• First: Haus ham, compressed melon, fried cornbread, basil aioli, fermented hot sauce
• Second: Summer bean salad, ham hock, cherry tomato, sweet corn, pickled chilies
• Third: Crispy braised pork belly, pepper jelly, peaches, charred zucchini, mint
• Fourth: Smoked pork shoulder, regional BBQ sauces, collared greens, cornbread with honey butter, slaw, pickles
• Fifth: Peach and blackberry cobbler, buttermilk ice cream

An oompah band will close out the meal.

At 9 p.m., we’ll open Funkenhausen back up to the public, and the rest of the evening will commence. At the bar, enjoy select wines by the glass, beer on draft and a few cocktails and spirits; wooden nickels are good for one free drink per guest. Complimentary passed bites will include deviled eggs with ham powder, corn fritters with basil aioli and mini pulled pork sandwiches with slaw and mustard BBQ sauce.

Ben Fasman, FoF (friend of Funkenhausen) and the best DJ/bartender we know, will spin funky tunes. And yes, there will be shotskis, hammerschlagen and other unscripted fun.
