Lines of research with clear commercial potential open the door to multiple funding opportunities. Come learn about funding opportunities through the Small Business Research Development Program, commercially sponsored research, the I-Corps program, industry consulting, and government contracting.

The seminar is led by Dr. Ellen Brune, liaison for economic development for the U of A-Startup Junkie Science Venture Primer Partnership.

The Science Venture Primer Partnership will broaden the programming and resources available to faculty and graduate students to amplify the economic and social impacts of university research and innovation. The Science Venture Primer Partnership furthers the joint goals and efforts of Startup Junkie and the U of A offices of Economic Development, Industry Engagement and Entrepreneurship & Innovation.
