Description

Planning is the first step to success. But who has time to plan? You do!

Spend the day planning your year ahead with Sam Laprade, CFRE and Jenny Mitchell, CFRE, DMA. Get away from the office for the day so you can make time for success.

Together we'll build you specific, measurable goals into your plan to keep you, your team and your board on track. Lunch will be provided.

Space is limited to 30 participants. Register today to avoid dissapointment.

What will I learn during the day?

We’ve got four learning spotlights for you: monthly giving, major gifts conversations, board management and stewardship. That’s on top of all the training about fundraising plans, acquired media and one-on-one conversations with Sam and Jenny about your shop.

I’d love for my team to come. Is there a discount price to attend?

Fantastic idea! Register for two members of your team and send the third member for free! Contact Jenny at Jenny@Chavender.com to get the details.

What will I get out of the day?

You’ll get all the materials from the day: all the powerpoint presentations of the different learning spotlights, plus our template for fundraising plans, plus a handy-dandy workbook to guide you through the day. Plus, you’ll get lunch, coffee/tea and a chance to build community with your peers.

How do I convince my boss/board that I should attend?

Have you built your plan yet for 2020? How valuable would that be for your organization to have your objectives mapped out before the year starts. Pitch the day as a planning retreat, with the added bonus of consultation and advice from two professional fundraisers to guide the drafting of the plan. This is an incredible value to you and your organization, at a fraction of the cost.

THE FINE PRINT DETAILS

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is available on side streets around St. Paul's University, as well as in the St. Paul's Parking lot. The #5 OC Transpo bus runs up Main Street.

What's the refund policy?

Unfortunately, we cannot issue any refunds for this event. We will honour your financial commitment with a 1 hour one-on-one consultation session if you cannot make the event for an emergency reason.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No. We'll have a list of attendees at the event.
