Join us for our screening and discussion of the 1972 documentary “Ningla-A’na”
“Ningla-A’na” offers an inside look into the early days of the Aboriginal Tent Embassy, a living protest that continues to this day on the lawns of Parliament House. It is the only documentary ever made about the establishment of the Tent Embassy, and features the voices of many of the most militant Aboriginal activists from the 1970s.
Please join us for a screening and guided discussion of this documentary, which chronicles a vital chapter in the history of the struggle for Black Liberation in Australia. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Doors at 6:30pm, film screening at 7pm. 13 Berry St, Clyde.
