Event description

Description

‘I came in unsure of how to apply for funding. I am leaving knowledgeable and enthusiastic, with a joint project with someone else on the course!’ (Course participant 2017)

Unfortunately, there is no magic spell or potion for funding success – behind every successful bid is strong planning, partnerships and preparation. This introductory, one-day course is designed for those wanting to develop their budgeting and fundraising skills. Built on our years of experience in shaping and delivering successful youth arts projects in a range of settings, we are here to provide you with expert advice – from sourcing new partners, to submitting a strong bid.

Ideal if:

You work in the arts and cultural sectors and are looking to identify and apply for funding for projects with children and young people

You will gain:

  • Ideas for identifying funding sources for youth arts projects
  • Best practice awareness in planning and preparing your funding applications
  • Top tips for finding suitable partners for your project
  • Time to review ways of making the most of what you already have, and how to source what you need

Trainer: Helen Le Brocq
