Description

Following the Summit on Youth Homelessness in San Diego County, Funders Together to End Homelessness San Diego will host a funders-only discussion with the national speakers who participated in the Summit. At this intimate discussion, we will examine opportunities for philanthropy to support efforts to end youth homelessness, answering such questions as:

• What does a system to end youth homelessness look like?
• What are some of the challenges in building such a system?
• What roles can philanthropy play?
• In what ways do efforts to end chronic homelessness overlap with, and differ from, those to end youth homelessness?

National experts participating in the dialogue include:
Amanda Andere, CEO, Funders Together to End Homelessness
Megan Gibbard, Director, A Way Home America
Katie Hong, Director, Youth Homelessness, The Raikes Foundation
Jama Shelton, Policy Advisor, The True Colors Fund
