Fundamentals of Environmental Economics--FTE and SC Economics Workshop

In partnership with the Foundation for Teaching Economics (FTE), a national organization dedicated to promoting economic education by helping teachers of economics become more effective educators, SC Economics is excited to provide this one-day workshop. This program is designed to familiarize middle and high school teachers and curriculum specialists with a non-biased approach that introduces the basics of environmental economics and provides effective classroom simulations to introduce the concepts in the classroom. Sample topics include the Tragedy of the Commons, Using Marginal Analysis to Make Environmental Decisions, and Addressing Climate Change. You will not want to miss this rare opportunity to engage with Donald G. Fell, professor for the FTE Institute on the Environment and the Economy as well as The Right Start Institute!
