More about Fund for Teachers:
Fund for Teachers is a national organization that enriches the personal and professional growth of teachers by supporting them as they identify and pursue opportunities that create the greatest impact on their practice, students and school communities. Since 2001, Fund for Teachers has awarded 8,500 teachers $32 million in grants to visit 152 countries on all seven continents. For the upcoming summer 2021, Fund for Teachers grants will cover learning experiences within the continental United States and Hawaii. The Public Education Foundation is a local partner for the Hamilton County Department of Education applicants.
To be eligible, you must be a full-time preK-12th grade teacher that spends at least 50% of your time in direct classroom instruction and has at least three years' experience by the end of the school year. Individuals may apply for up to $5,000 and teams may apply for up to $10,000.
Hamilton County educators may apply through the local Public Education Foundation pool, and regional educators may apply through the national Fund for Teachers pool. All public school educators are welcome to attend the virtual informational sessions with PEF staff and past FFT Fellows.
