About this event
In this 75 minute masterclass (Saturday, Dec 17, 12 pm NY/5 pm London/7 pm South Africa), you will learn the science behind and practice the 3 dimensions of functional breathing. Getting our bodies back to a functional way of breathing on a day to day basis, at rest, during exercise, and while sleeping has been proven effective for enhancing the quality of your daily life, including reducing stress and anxiety, improving sleep, balancing mood and emotions, enhancing concentration, improving performance, and increasing overall resilience.
Through this 75 min online masterclass you will:
- Differentiate between functional and dysfunctional breathing
- Create breath awareness
- Learn nervous system basics
- Learn the 3 dimensions of functional breathing
- Learn the science behind each dimension
- Practice each dimension individually
- Practice all three dimensions collectively
- Take away a form of breathing that can be incorporated into your daily life to reduce anxiety, improve sleep, increase stress resilience, and enhance physical performance
