"Fun Home" Theater Night for North Idaho Pride Alliance

Join North Idaho Pride Alliance for a special evening at Lake City Playhouse to experience Fun Home, an award-winning musical with characters and thematic content that connects with LGBTQ people and their families. This fundraiser event is an opportunity to bring our volunteers, supporters, and partners together through the magic of community theater.

The reception will begin at 5:30 PM. Showtime is at 7 PM. Food, beer, wine, and other beverages will be available to purchase at this event.

Tickets are $25. One drink ticket is included in the price.

About Fun Home:

When her father dies unexpectedly, graphic novelist Alison Bechdel dives deep into her past to tell the story of the volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her family and her life. Moving between past and present, Alison relives her unique childhood playing at the family’s Bechdel Funeral Home, her growing understanding of her own sexuality, and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father’s hidden desires. Fun Home is a refreshingly honest, wholly original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes.

A limited amount of physical tickets can be purchased through volunteers or at the NIPA office in the Human Rights Education Institute (414 W Fort Grounds Dr, CDA). Contact us to make arrangements.
