You will be able to perceive the greater beauty and love that Pachamama, Mother Earth has for you.

Acerca de este evento

San Pedro ceremonies take place during the day and work as a communion between yourself, nature and the universe on a whole. The purpose is to be able to see the interconnectivity of life and in this way we can appreciate everything around us.

The San Pedro (Trichocereus pachano) is a vertical cactus that can reach a gigantic size. It grows in Mexico, Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. In the two last countries, it is used in Shamanic rituals and is the third cactus with the greatest concentration of mescaline after Peyote and the Antorcha Peruana (Trichocereus Peruvianus) which is harder to find. It is considered as Sacred Medicine and helps in the expansion of individual consciousness, as well as in spiritual growth.

During the Full Moon San Pedro Ceremony your inner self will be amplified. You will be able to perceive the greater beauty and love that Pachamama, Mother Earth has for you. This results in a deeper connection with your surroundings and can result in a greater appreciation for the world at large. This ability to see beauty is something that is easily lost when we go about our daily lives. A San Pedro Ceremony is a powerful antidote to help you remember what you always knew.

The Full Moon is a special event that takes place a few times throughout the year. This has a powerful gravitational effect on Mother Earths oceans and lakes. Up to 60% of the body is made of water. Many tales have been told about behavioral changes in people and animals during the full moon.

About the San Pedro Ceremony

Travel & Healing hosts a full moon San Pedro Ceremony in the beautiful Temple of the Moon Inca archeological site. San Pedro, or Wachuma, its original name in Quechua, is one of the most mystical traditions inherited from Inca Empire. Shaman healers who practice the San Pedro Ceremony are using this sacred cactus plant to heal people in health, emotional, spiritual aspects. It is the most powerful plant Andean people use as healing medicine. It is to the Andean people, what Ayahuasca is to the Amazonian people.
