Fulbright NCAC's Young Professionals Initiative invites you to the second Emerging Leaders Series event of the year. The series gives Fulbright alumni the unique opportunity to meet rising leaders in fields such as politics, media, and international affairs, and talk to them about professional development.

April's speaker is Dr. Frances Colón, Deputy Science and Technology Adviser at the US Department of State. Dr. Frances Colón currently promotes integration of science and technology into foreign policy dialogues, global scientific engagement for capacity-building, advancement of women in science, and innovation as a tool for economic growth around the world. Dr. Colón will provide insights into her career as a scientist in international relations and her experiences at the State Department. Her perspective will be valuable to professionals in science, science policy and international affairs from all demographics including women and minorities.
