Join cinematographer, David Stump, ASC and Duclos Lenses', Matthew Duclos for a educational workshop discussion on lens evaluation. Using both lens projection and live images from the DMPC's set, we will explore the subtle, subjective and distinctive lens characteristics that can make a creative difference to your production.
Fujinon zoom lenses have been used on major Motion Pictures ranging from Tomorrowland (Claudio Miranda, ASC) to Avatar (Mauro Fiore, ASC), Jupiter Ascending (John Toll, ASC) to Draft Day (Eric Steelberg, ASC); Television shows ranging from Fox's Empire (Paul Sommers) to HBO's Veep (Tim Bellen).
Fujinon Day at DMPC will use a workshop and educational approach to help attendees gain a better understanding of the creative, optical and budgetary considerations that are critical to modern lens design. We will explore various lens properties as well as objective and subjective differences, including:

Pin Cushioning Barrel Distortion Field Flatness Chromatic Aberration
Come join us as we explore and explain the character, look and feel of the various Fujinon lenses available for all levels of filmmaking. There will be a constant rotation of Fujinon Premier Series and Cabrio Series lenses. through both the projection room as well as the live set
