Description

Learn how to fuel better to run longer. This practical and interactive workshop for Park Runners to ultra-runners is jointly led by England Athletics Leadership in Running Fitness Coach, Fran Taylor, and registered dietitian Hannah Pearman, who specialises in supporting people taking life-changing actions.

Fran and Hannah will help you better understand how to carb load to avoid hitting the wall and how to hydrate properly. You’ll find out about the evidence behind fasted training, what foods and supplements can improve your performance and strategies for alleviating runner’s gut. You’ll also learn how to prepare a simple pre-run meal, on-the-go energy balls and a refreshing rehydration drink.

Fran worked with Dan Lawson in the run-up to his leading Team GB to silver in the European 24-Hour Championships. Let her and Hannah take you that one-step nearer your goal.

Ticket pricing

Tickets for this event are £55, or £50 (per person) when booking two or more tickets at once. We have a limited number of tickets available at a concession rate of £45 for those who are in receipt of a means-tested benefit, as well as full-time students.
