Event description

Description

Join the MIT Energy Club as co-President Nick Devonshire leads a discussion of what working at a developer, utility, and financier is like and how to get in. Open to the MIT Community (MIT ID required), registration encouraged and lunch will be provided. Click here to read a blog post overview of what will be discussed.

Nick Devonshire is a 2019 MBA candidate at MIT Sloan. He spent the past summer in the Principal Transactions group of Macquarie. Prior to MIT, he worked as a private equity associate at New Energy Capital, co-founded SparkFund, and worked as a consultant at ICF International and Bloom Energy. He’s passionate about growing innovative energy companies and strengthening their ties with capital markets. He graduated from Dartmouth College, where he converted a Greyhound bus to run on waste vegetable oil and solar power.

Fuel for Thought is a new recurring event from the MIT Energy Club with different topics and speakers each time. Always free and open to the MIT Community (MIT ID required). Send us an email on any discussion topics you'd like to see covered in the future!
