Event description
Join FTCLDF for a Day on the Farm with Joel Salatin, and a Special Farm Dinner with the Lunatic Farmer!

About this Event

Spend a day on the farm for the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund’s (FTCLDF) Fall Harvest Drive. The events are the kick-off to our Fall Harvest Drive Fundraiser that runs from September 21-September 28 and includes activities at local farmers markets.

Join us for one or two big kick-off events at Reverence Farms in North Carolina on September 21. Spend the day mingling with farm animals, taking a hay wagon tour to learn about farming methods, and for presentations and an optional special farm dinner with Joel Salatin!

Proceeds from both the September 21 kick-off events ensure that FTCLDF continues to fight for a food system that supports farmers, ranchers, artisan producers, and consumers, and to ensure our right to decide what we eat. We can’t do it without you!

About the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund

We are a national nonprofit that relies entirely on membership fees and donations to continue protecting, defending, and broadening the rights and viability of independent farmers, artisanal food producers, and their consumers. Proceeds from the 2019 Fall Harvest Drive will help us continue to provide essential services to our members struggling with legal and policy issues that serve as a barrier to providing wholesome food directly to consumers. To keep membership fees low and accessible for all farmers, we need financial support from our community.

Early Bird Pricing Ends August 23!!
