About this event
This will be a practical, interactive workshop with a solid base of theory covered also. The session will include demonstrations, Q&A and a chance to practice your newly acquired skills. There will be an emphasis on apple trees. We will also prune pears, currants, raspberries and blackberries.
The workshop will take place in the garden and we also have a heated yurt for warming up in.
Tea and coffee will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Please bring warm, waterproof clothes and shoes and work gloves.
Sliding scale is to accommodate people on lower incomes. Please pay what you can afford to help balance out costs.

About the facilitator
Siobhán is a qualified horticulturist who has been growing vegetables for 12 years and teaching horticulture for 5+ years. She is a diploma candidate with the UK Permaculture Association and co-founder of Coole Eco Community.
She is passionate about empowering people to grow their own food and about finding ways to make food production easier by understanding and working with nature.
