Event description

Description

Please join the Center for U.S.-Mexican Studies and the UC San Diego Urban Studies and Planning Program for our next event. Frontera Fridays are quarterly events connecting leaders from both sides of the border to UC San Diego, and serve as a platform for learning, networking and discussing opportunities and challenges that make our binational region unique.

This Frontera Friday will focus on contemporary art at the border and the intersections of cultural production, policy and economic reform. We will visit the Chicano Park in Barrio Logan and have some tamales before heading to Tijuana and visiting 206 Arte Contemporaneo Gallery and the Relaciones Inesperadas Exposition at CECUT.

Please meet at Chicano Park by 10 am. We will cross back from Tijuana at 5 pm. More details will be provided by email.
