From the Romanovs Through Today: Art Day Trip

Join us on Sunday May 18th for a guided excursion into fine and decorative art in Boston and beyond from the sphere of Russian cultural influence.
Our comfortable mini-bus will whisk you away to picturesque Clinton, Massachusetts for a visit to the Museum of Russian Icons, where its director Kent Russell will guide us around the temporary exhibiton of treasures from Imperial Russia currently on view. After a Champagne Brunch at the Museum, we'll hop on the bus and head back to the city for a tour of several studios of artists with roots in the former Soviet Union working today in Boston.
10 am Bus departs from meeting point in Brookline, MA along the T. Location TBC.
11 am Viewing of The Tsars' Cabinet exhibition, and the Museum of Russian Icons, guided by the museum's director, Kent Russell
12:30 pm Champagne Brunch at the Museum
1:30 pm Bus departs Clinton, MA for Boston
2:30-4:30 pm Artist studio visits, various locations
5:00 pm Bus returns to pick up point. Optional wine reception and exhibition viewing nearby.
