Description

Join yoga/pilates instructor, Jessica Baack and ultradistance trail runner, Jonnah Perkins, for this energizing workshop that brings focus to the strength and mindfulness that are part of healthy, productive running. Jonnah and Jessica believe that training on trails creates the most well-rounded runner and that a simple movement practice of yoga and pilates can create and sustain a lifelong runner. Your instructors feel passionate about maintaining a healthy body and healthy enviroment. They are both advocates for eating a colorful, locally sourced diet and are excited to share their favorite smoothie with the group.

Itinerary

  • Introductions
  • Strengthening movement session in the studio
  • Trail run at Blue Mound State Park: 3 and 5 mile option
  • Restorative guided meditation in the studio
  • Green smoothies (vegan/gluten-free) and Q+A to ask us all of your questions about yoga, pilates, running

What to bring

  • Comfortable yoga clothes
  • Running clothes/shoes
  • A towel to dry off with - trails might be wet!

There will be time to change in between running and meditation
