About this event
Editors work, often alone for hours at a time, meticulously rearranging the puzzle pieces of scenes, and yet it is one of the most intense and creative experiences within the filmmaking process. Have you ever wanted to get inside the head of a film editor? How do editors work with directors? What does the workflow look like for big and small projects? What is a good strategy to get from assembly to locked cut? This panel will explore the decisions made during editing, that can often be the difference between a film being good, and a film being great. The editors will illustrate the conversation by showing short clips from their work.
