Event Details

Commemorating its first anniversary, the Boston chapter of Spanish Scientists in the USA (ECUSA, Españoles Científicos en Estados Unidos), in collaboration with MIT-Spain, is pleased to invite you to this free public program featuring introductory remarks overviewing ECUSA-Boston's achievement during this past year followed by an interactive presentation by Mercedes Balcells, PhD, scientist at MIT Institute for Medical Engineering and Science and co-director of MIT-Spain. The event will conclude with a networking reception. Mercedes will share with us how her studies in basic science have enabled her to (1) promote fruitful collaborations between industry and academia, (2) create a start-up, and (3) establish international exchange programs such as the MIT-Spain Program.

Registration is required. Please click "RSVP" (above) to sign up. The program will be in English and refreshments will be served.

We look forward to seeing you!

The ECUSA-Boston Team.
