Does the hustle and bustle of city living make you long for something more bucolic? Wish you could spend a long weekend up in Vermont, but just can’t get the time away to do it? Not to worry—Whole Foods Market will bring a taste of Vermont to you. Join Tracey Medeiros, author of Dishing Up Vermont (Storey Publishing) and the recently released Vermont Farm Table Cookbook (The Countryman Press) for an evening of farm-to-table recipes featured in her latest cookbook. From robust comfort foods to a substantial salad to mouthwatering cookies from scratch, Tracey’s creations will surely inspire your home cooking, and maybe even encourage a visit to the Green Mountain State.
On the Menu: Farm Fresh Quiche; Lemon-Lavender Dressing; Massaged Kale Salad with Asian Peanut Dressing; Rachel’s Caprese Sandwich with Tomatoes, Extra-Sharp Cheddar, and Basil; Sautéed Sea Scallops with Smoked Bacon and Maple Cream Sauce; Cheryl’s Organic Oatmeal and Chocolate Chip Cookies.
