A demo of F1000Research open peer review and open data features

October 21, 11AM EST/4PM UK

Within the life sciences, open access publishing has now reached a tipping point, where 50% of content is freely available (see: http://europa.eu/rapid/press-release_IP-13-786_en.htm). But "open access" only describes availability of the article itself. Peer review reports and the data behind the paper are still often unavailable to readers. F1000Research, launched in 2013, also publishes the peer review reports and data with each publication.

In this web demo, we will show how the F1000Research model works, explain the underlying idea of open peer review and open data, and answer any questions you may have about publishing in F1000Research.

To get a sense of who is attending, we ask you to please register for this web demo. (It’s free!) You will receive an email with the link to the live web streaming talk a few minutes before it starts.
