It is often said that the success of a photography studio is 10% photography and 90% business. Although I do not 100% agree with this statement, it does hold quite a bit of truth. Being able to book jobs consistently will heavily rely on your ability to provide a total experience to your prospects and clients. Delivery of a high quality final product is of course extremely important, but building a relationship throughout the process and maintaining that relationship will keep those clients coming back to you year after year. During this free seminar, allow me to provide you with an inside look at how I choose to run my Wedding, Portrait and Event photography studio and share with you experiences, both good and bad, which have allowed me to grow as a photographer and business owner.

Some of the topics to be covered will include:
  • How to respond to an email or phone call
  • Get them in the door - booking the consultation
  • The importance of reviews and referrals to attract leads and build a great reputation
  • The consultation - How to host it, along with some Do’s and Don’ts
  • Build confidence, earn trust, educate
  • Post Consult - How & when to follow up
  • Identifying and recognizing your ideal client - picking up on red flags
  • The importance of communication
In addition to the topics mentioned above, I of course urge all those in attendance to ask as many questions as possible related to all things Photography.
