Description

“A JOURNEY BACK, A JOURNEY FORWARD: BIRTH COUNTRY TRAVEL and THE BIG PICTURE”
A heritage journey is one of the most significant factors in the identity building process of internationally adopted children. So...what’s the journey all about?

Maybe your family or child has dreamed about a heritage journey for years, or perhaps recently began thinking about it. Bea Evans, from the TIES program and Adoptive Family Travel, will share her program as well as personal experiences. She will answer your questions surrounding birth country travel and what does a heritage journey mean to the internationally adopted child. Space is limited so register early! This is a FREE workshop provided by the Post Adoption Resource Center. Contact Dory at dmarshall@cclse.org with any questions.
