An introduction to using online data for design research
About this event
Design is about knowing and creating with and for people. Our digital lives are full of rich data that can help us know people better: from what we see when we search the web to what we post on social media.
So, how can we creatively repurpose online data for design research?
What can we learn as designers and design researchers from the emerging research practice of digital methods in social science?
In what ways can we investigate digitally, while being ethical and responsible?
In this session, Dilina Janadith, a community manager of DesignAct and a doctoral student at University of Limerick will talk to us about his journey through this research practice.
We hope you're curious to learn more!
