Brands and marketers today know that data is the key to connect and engage meaningfully with consumers. However, the volume and the ever-changing nature of consumer data poses some challenges that brands must address to overcome meaningful relationships with consumers. Consumer data is fragmented across enterprise silos and must be connected.

While connecting consumer data assets is a key first step, brands also must be able to go beyond basic consumer intelligence and derive actionable insights that identify needs as well as opportunities. And finally, through a connected view of the consumer and actionable intelligence, brands must deliver relevant and engaging experiences that create consumer value and build on the relationship.

Subu Desaraju is a seasoned digital marketing leader with more than 20 years of industry experience at leading agencies and strategy consulting firms. Throughout his career he has worked at the intersection of business strategy, marketing analytics and technology. Subu’s expertise resides in developing transformational marketing initiatives enabled by data driven insights and delivered through marketing technology innovation. His experience spans digital performance marketing, CRM, e-commerce and emerging media.

Subu currently leads all strategy, function, talent and delivery for the agency's Performance Analytics practice across Canada and the U.S. He previously was EVP, Director, Performance & Analytics at MRM//McCann Detroit. He holds an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business and a prior Master's /B.E. in Computer and Information Science.
