Event description
A peer-learning conference on project stewardship in Southern Vermont

About this Event

The Southern Vermont Economy Project 2.0 provides webinars, small conferences, mini-summits, technical assistance and training to help advance local economic and community development projects that are critical to creating prosperity in rural Southern Vermont.

Join us for our SVEP 2.0 small conference on Local Project Stewardship. Hear from communities in the Southern Vermont region on how they’ve stewarded their projects through each step. Learn about projects at different stages and their lessons learned.

Projects to be highlighted:

  • EJ Bullock Building, Readsboro- Sue Bailey, Readsboro Hometown Redevelopment
  • Broad Brook Community Center, Guilford- Rick Zamore, BBCC Board
  • Robertson Paper Mill, Rockingham- Gary Fox, Town of Rockingham Economic Development Department
  • Pocket Park, Bennington- John Shannahan, Better Bennington Corporation
  • Skate Park, Brattleboro- Carol Lolatte, Town of Brattleboro Recreation Department

The second half of the conference will be spent in small group, peer learning opportunities to discuss YOUR projects conundrums.
