Event description

Description

The University of Oregon Lundquist College of Business is hosting an event Monday, September 25 from 5:00pm-7:00pm as part of the inaugural Built Up Festival, a celebration of Oregon’s makers, brands, and community. We’re showcasing our new space at 109 Naito by bringing together a panel discussion “From Concept to Market – Sports and Apparel Product Development.” Join us that evening to hear from a panel of industry representatives, as well as learn about new company start-ups from University of Oregon alumni and others. The event is free of charge.

Panelists:

Steve Woodside – recently retired from Columbia Sportswear with operations, supply chain, and manufacturing experience.

Patrick Kruse – Founder and head of R&D at Ruffwear. Patrick brings the perspective of an entrepreneur and business leader to the discussion as he’s built the company through bootstrapping and smart product development and growth.

Kimberly Barta Kimberly has scaled global iconic brands by leading marketing efforts for Dr. Martens and SOREL.

Wilson Smith – Footwear designer at Nike and the instructor for our Sports Product Management Intro to Design Course.
