DESCRIPTION

 

This roundtable will introduce managers, supervisors and labor organization representatives to collaborative labor-management engagement strategies.  This will include an overview of how "collaborative" and "compliance-based" approaches differ and ways that the former can be used to improve agency results.  The presenters will share their own labor and management perspectives, including how and why they have worked to develop collaborative relationships, how they select and implement projects, challenges they have faced, and the tangible effects this approach is having on employee engagement and agency mission outcomes.
