As a college student Nora was already managing a team of 100+ staff including handling everything from interviews to terminations. Thirty years later she has built a career helping organizations reimagine the employee and candidate experiences and guiding leaders in understanding the complex relationships between business objectives and people management. She has conducted primary research as The Undercover Candidate™ & The Undercover Employee™ including 250+ job interviews (not as herself), and working on the front lines of eight organizations – firms that did not know her as an expert in leadership and workplace culture, but saw her as “just’a” front line employee (a phrase that she discovered is too often defines a management approach for critical front-line employees).

A go-to resource in the area of leadership and workplace culture, she has overseen operations and HR practices within the Fortune 200, as well as start-up firms, associations, and mid-size corporations managing both on-site and remote teams. Her insights are a blend of education, experience, and proprietary primary research into workplace culture. Nora has served on the Leadership Advisory Panel for the Chief of the US Forest Service, and coached the Presidential Fellows for the CDC. Her media credits include Forbes, ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, Colorado Public Radio, SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management), and a variety of leadership podcasts across the country.
