Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve RHP History Hike

The Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve (Friends) are holding a history hike at Richfield Heritage Preserve (4374 Broadview Road) on Saturday, June 10, from 2-4 p.m. Friends' historian Lynn Richardson will guide attendees on a one-mile loop at a relaxed pace around Lake Linnea---and will share stories of the Neal Family orchards and the Girl Scout Camp Hilaka.

• This hike is free.
• This hike will be held rain or shine.
• Dress for the weather.
• Suitable hiking footwear is strongly suggested.
• Bringing a reusable water bottle is recommended.
• Bringing insect repellant, sunscreen -- and any other items to make this event enjoyable and comfortable for you -- is advised.
• Attendees will meet by The Lodge.

The hike will be led by Lynn Richardson who is the Friends historian and is the author of “Crowell Hilaka and the Richfield Heritage Preserve” from Arcadia Publishing Company. The book will be available to purchase for $25---cash only. A portion of the proceeds from all books purchased will be donated toward the Kirby's Mill restoration project.
