Friends of Puerto Rico invites you to celebrate Women's History Month

Join us for brunch and a conversation with our special guest Ana-Mita Betancourt for our AMIGAS initiative.

About AMIGAS:

AMIGAS is an influential network comprised of a global society of women that are Friends of Puerto Rico. The AMIGAS connect to mentor, foster and empower women to become investors of the future of Puerto Rico's youth, through exchanges of arts, education, and entrepreneurship.

About the event:

AMIGAS is one of our premier events that was created to salute and honor the commitment of exceptional women. All honorees have proven themselves in their respective fields, worked diligently to climb up the corporate ladder with integrity and social responsibility by giving back to their communities.

About our speaker:

Ana-Mita Betancourt is an international development attorney with more than 30 years experience. Ms. Betancourt is a graduate from Stanford Law School and Georgetown University, who served as General Counsel at the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency of the World Bank Group. She is one of the first Puerto Ricans to reach this position. Her down-to-earth sensibility and devotion to diversity and inclusion have made her a role model to many.
