We've arranged access to this special Maker Faire preview day for YOU—teachers bringing students from local schools and colleges to celebrate the Maker Movement. Below are details about participating in FRIDAY@MakerFaire for Schools. Please read this information in its entirety before making your purchase.

Ticket Information:

- Chaperone: Admission for one (1) chaperone—$15

- Student: Admission for one (1) student—$10

- Chaperone Requirement: We require one (1) adult chaperone per group of up to five (5) students. Chaperones can be teachers, parents of students, or school staff/administrators. Example: If you have 23 students coming, you will need 5 chaperones. (If your group is from a college/university and includes only 18+ year olds, your group is exempt from the Chaperone requirement.)

- Tickets for School Groups will not be sold on-site. Please gather your group numbers before May 5th and purchase the number of tickets needed for your group. General Admission tickets on-site are $35-$75.

Payment Options:

The deadline to purchase School Group tickets is April 28, 2019, 9:00 pm PT.

- Credit Card—Use this site to purchase your tickets directly.

- Purchase Order/Check Payment—If you haven't already, go here to read about the Purchase Order submission process. Do not purchase tickets directly via this site.

Next Steps:

- Look for the confirmation email from Eventbrite with your tickets attached. You will get access to a PDF with individual tickets you can print out.

- Download the Participation Waiver via the link provided in your application acceptance email. Follow the instructions for the Waiver included in the acceptance email.

- Look out for more information from Maker Faire about your group's participation as the Faire gets closer.

This ticketing page is for FRIDAY@Makerfaire for Schools only.

Purchases made for Student tickets or Chaperone tickets only will be voided. Your purchase must include the correct ratio of Chaperone tickets to Student tickets purchased, and match the quantities provided in your application. If not, the purchase may be voided.

School Group tickets cannot be exchanged for, or transferred to, General Admission tickets for FRIDAY@Makerfaire or any Maker Faire weekend tickets.

Tickets purchased via Eventbrite will receive an email confirmation with a link to print your eTickets from your computer. We recommend printing out your tickets and bringing them with your group.

If you do not receive your email confirmation, check your spam or gray mail folder for it. If you are unable to find it, email tickets@makerfaire.com to have it resent. Please include the name and email address used to order the tickets, and your order number if you have it.

No outside food or beverages are permitted through the gates unless you have special medical, dietary, or religious requirements. A wide variety of for-purchase food options will be available. For school groups, we recommend eating before entering the Faire.

Strollers, backpacks, and a bottle of water are allowed. We recommend that students do not carry backpacks or bags while at the Faire.

No pets are allowed, for their safety. Service animals are welcome.

ADA Compliance: A limited number of push wheelchairs will be available at the event site for rental on a first come, first served basis. Accessible water fountains, eating areas, and restrooms are also available.

Ticket Use Release of Liability

This contract limits the liability of Maker Media, Inc. ("MM") and its affiliates. You acknowledge that Maker Faire exhibits and activities are inherently hazardous, and that risks to you as a Maker Faire attendee include physical injury and property damage. You are solely responsible for supervising/controlling the behavior of the children in your party for your/their safety. By using this ticket and/or participating in Maker Faire exhibits and/or activities, you assume all risks to you and/or your children of such, including damage, loss, harm, injury and death to your person(s) and all risks resulting from negligent instruction or supervision, and you release MM from all corresponding liability to you and your successors. Your rights are waived to any images and/or recordings you may appear in while at Maker Faire and any/all related promotional or documentary materials.
