Description

2019 Red Poppy Volunteers

The Red Poppy Festival is a zero-waste event. This means we have a goal of diverting 90% or more of the waste generated at the event to recycling or composting containers. Volunteers like you are needed at our eco-stations where those recycling, composting, and landfill materials are collected. You will learn about the positive effects of diverting waste for reuse and recycling, and help direct festival goers to place discarded items into the correct collection bin. Don't worry, no experience is needed! The first 100 volunteers will get a FREE Red Poppy Festival shirt! Multiple volunteers are needed per shift.
