Event description

Description

Cantor Daniel Mutlu and Rabbi Stephanie Kolin warmly invite our temple members, and their guests, to a Congregational First Night Seder.

Savor the gift of community by celebrating this night with your Central family.

This evening will be both a fun exploration of the symbolism of Passover as well as a thoughtful reflection on our journey from slavery to freedom. Come ready to sing well-known favorites and new Passover melodies and of course ready to eat delicious traditional foods with your Central community.

Please note: This Seder is open to members of Central Synagogue and their guests only.

Date:

April 19, 2019

Time and Location:

Seder begins at 6:45pm in the Lindenbaum Pavilion, immediately following our abbreviated Shabbat Service in the Main Sanctuary. For the Seder, the doors will open at 6:15pm.

Menu:

Kosher meal with vegetarian options

Seating Arrangements:

We will have reserved seating and highly recommend purchasing family tickets together. If your family members purchase tickets separately, we will do our best to accommodate family seating together. Please know that there is a limit of six tickets per family as we want to make sure those in our community who are not with family and friends, have a community Seder to attend. Registration for the Seder is on a first-come first-serve basis.

*There is limited scholarship available where financial hardship exists. Please contact our Membership department at ext. 3084 or membership@censyn.org to discuss your situation
