Join Dr. A. Mechele Dickerson as she discusses how America has failed to protect middle class households, and why the middle class is in despair. The “new” crisis facing the middle class is actually not new at all for Blacks and Latinos, who have always struggled to achieve the American Dream and the financial successes associated with the middle-class. She will also briefly discuss how the middle class crisis is playing out in the current presidential campaign and why “working class white anger” has become a frequent topic in the media this election season.
