Fresno Pacific University's Master of Arts & Science Hooding Ceremony

Please join us on Friday, May 5, 2017 for Fresno Pacific University's Master of Arts & Science Hooding Ceremony! Our invitation extends to colleagues, family and friends.
If you are on campus early, please stop by the Graduate Research Symposium, taking place from 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm in Aims Hall. The Hooding Ceremony will begin at 7:00 pm in the Special Events Center.
Light refreshments will be served.
1) Where can I park?
Parking is available in any of the Fresno Pacific University parking lots. The closest parking lot is located on the corner of Hamilton/Winery.
2) What time do graduates need to arrive?
Graduates need to arrive by 6:15PM. Please check in on the WEST side of the building (closest to the Campus Green).
3) What should graduates wear?
Commencement Regalia (apparel): All participants must purchase their own
Regalia (cap, black gown, tassel and hood, if applicable) may be purchased at Fresno Pacific Bookshop beginning April 11. The hours are 9:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Friday.
Regalia may be purchased at each regional campus from Fresno Pacific Bookshop the week of April 10. Check the postings at your regional campus in early April for specific dates and times.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the dignity of the event, and out of respect for your fellow graduates, their families, your faculty and all involved in this ceremony, personal embellishments on caps and/or gowns will not be allowed.
4) Will there be a professional photographer?

Professional photographers will photograph each candidate receiving his/her diploma from the president and at the bottom of the stairs following each student’s recognition on stage. Each candidate will receive a 1x1-inch proof photograph in the mail about two weeks following the ceremony and will be able to order enlargements. For safety reasons, family and friends must take photographs/videos from their seats.
