Description
2:00 PM and 5:00 PM (two performances): Scenes from "Ring", a play by Léonore Confino that oscillates between comedy and drama. In French. Directed by Theatre du Reve and featuring surprise guests from Francophonie Atlanta, it's all about the challenges of living with a partner: parents, lovers, strangers, married couples, divorced couples, widows...fighting with their vulnerability, habits, instincts and ideals. Sparks burst into flames - misunderstandings erupt into war...despite their superhuman efforts to exist with a partner.
Leonore Confino is a French-Swiss actor and writer. After traditional studies in theater at the Conservatoire de Vincennes in France, she left for Montreal to study trapeze work and improvisation, among other things. She returned to France to study film at L'ESEC and did international workshops with Blance Salant and Paul Weaver. Actor, writer.
Leonore was nominated at the Molière Awards (French Tonys) for RING in 2014- Best New Play by a Living Writer.
